Larry Bigbie blasted 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI as the Burbank Tigers defeated
the Jefferson Park Penguins 9 to 7 at Pro Player Stadium.

Bigbie enjoyed a fine day at the plate.  He hit a bases-empty home run in the
1st inning, smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly' (his 2nd of the season) in the
3rd inning and banged out a single plating a run in the 4th inning.
Jefferson Park had a chance to come back in the 9th but they came up short.

Mike Maroth(4-3) went 7 innings allowing 6 runs for the win. Jeremy Affeldt
recorded the save, his 3rd.  Bronson Arroyo(2-4) was charged with the loss.
He was touched for 3 homeruns in his 3 and 2/3 innings of work.  

The Burbank ballclub's record now stands at 13-21.  With this loss, Jefferson
Park has a 4-6 record of late, 17-17 overall.
